The subject of roll over protection has been the subject of change for 2017. Simon Baines our championship co-ordinator has written SpeedMog ROPS 2017 for guidance. Please read.
The class structure is based upon the base model of Morgan. You can use the information below to determine which class you car would be in. In general standard cars are exactly that. They are permitted some minor modifications to suspension (dampers, brake reaction stays), air cleaners, balanced engines and stainless exhausts. ECU’s may not be remapped (except on 4.6 plus 8’s and Roadsters).
Modified cars allow much more tuning up to and including full race engines. Although don’t think the only way to win is in a modified car. The 2005 champion was in a standard Rover Plus 4 and the 2007 & 2008 champion was in a standard Ford Fuel Injected 4/4.
